Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District, anticipates publicizing a solicitation for a construction contract for the 9-Mile Pump Station located in St. Clair Shores, MI. As part of this procurement, USACE Detroit District intends to only specify a portion of the acquisition for the brand-name requirement on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c)(1) for the Allen-Bradley PLC to the Manufacturer, Rockwell Automation. The Allen-Bradley PLCs are integral components of industrial automation systems, providing control and logic processing for various applications. They are known for their reliability, performance, and versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of industries and processes.
