Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Repair and repaint the Drift Collection Vessel Gelberman under a fixed-price contract, including surface preparation (sandblast to near white metal) and a prescribed multi-coat coating system across specified areas (hull above the waterline, deck fittings and decks with non-skid, deckhouse, stacks with markings, and hull below the waterline). Colors must match the vessel’s existing scheme using the defined color chips and AMS standards; deck surfaces require an environmentally compliant non-skid additive. Brand-name products are listed as examples for a basis of design, but other suitable products may be used if they meet the requirements and receive approval.

Before painting begins, submit a proposed list of paints to the COR for approval. The coating sequence includes: Base Coat primers, First Coat primers, Second Coat anti-corrosive, Third Coat finish below the waterline, Third Coat finish above the waterline, and Trim, with specified dry-film thicknesses. The listed brands are acceptable as examples but not exclusive, and final color/finish is subject to COR approval. This is a notice of intent to solicit the work under a fixed-price contract and is not a formal proposal request.
