Intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Glencoe Software for the renewal of OMERO Plus perpetual licenses that support the Open Microscopy Environment image management system used by the NIH/NCI intramural program. The base period runs from award through the initial term, with three consecutive 12-month option periods to renew. This is a sole-source action because Glencoe holds exclusive rights to provide commercial licenses with guarantee, warranty, indemnity, and contracted support for OMERO and Bio-Formats; while open-source distributions are available, they do not include guaranteed support or contractually guaranteed services. No solicitation will be issued.

Interested parties capable of providing the same or similar products may submit capability statements electronically; responses will be considered solely for determining whether a competitive procurement will be pursued.

No other entity is as closely tied to OME, interacts with OME on a daily basis, or has direct access to OME s project and strategic planning. Glencoe Software maintains exclusive control over the design and supply of components specific to their SEM systems. OEM parts are not available through resellers.
