Notice of Intent: CYPRES System FA9401-25-Q-0077

The 377th Mission Support Group/Contracting Division, Commodities Branch (377 MSG/PKB), at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source purchase order to SSK Military Industries, Inc. (CAGE code 3DLD5), 1008 Monroe Rd, Lebannon, Ohio 45036. SSK Military Industries, Inc. will be able to provide the CYPRES Systems that are under the Automatic Activation Devices (AAD s) which are managed by the USAF Personnel Parachute Program. SSK Military Industries, Inc. will be able to provide the required EC CYPRES 2 (1-Pin) P/N AAD2C1ECC-L, CYPRES Data Collector P/N , and CYPRES IR Remote P/N AADECCIRR. SSK Military Industries is the sole provider with no authorized resellers for the IR Remote mentioned. As for the EC CYPRES 2 (1-Pin) and CYPRES Data Collector, SSK Military Industries has been found to be the exclusive authorized distributor of the Military CYPRES for United States sale, therefore, materials for the EC CYPRES must be ordered through the SSK Military Industries Inc. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 28 August 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Sole Source Justification Letter will be posted with the Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a). The closing date for this notice is 26 August 2025 at 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time.
