The Government is seeking feedback from qualified, experienced sources capable of performing this type of project. The Seattle District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to repair the Mud Mountain Dam s (MMD) Bridge. This project aims to identify the most cost-effective solutions from the General Contractor (GC) for repairing the Mud Mountain Dam (MMD) Bridge Pier, located at the outlet of the 9-foot tunnel. The GC will conduct comprehensive value engineering design analyses and provide methods for executing the repair process, while considering the in-water work window and construction management support. The General Contractor will be responsible for all repairs to the bridge pier, utilizing the specified methods and materials as outlined in the project guidelines. This includes managing all aspects of the repair project, as well as providing as-built drawings, equipment, supplies, labor, facilities, tools, and supervision. All work will comply with the Statement of Work, contract specifications, and all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations, as well as industry standards. Construction work must be performed outside of the flood season (01 October 28 February) as use of the 9ft tunnel must not be restricted during this time. ATTENDING THE SITE VISIT DAY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SINCE IT IS UNLIKELY THAT AN ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT WILL BE OFFERED PRIOR TO AWARD. The contract solicitation and award are planned in FY26 for this project.
