The Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) recommends all Military Health Systems use the Recommended Uniform Screening Panel (RUSP) when procuring newborn metabolic screening tests. The RUSP list of conditions for which newborns receive screening can be located https://www.hrsa.gov/advisory-committees/heritable-disorders/rusp and is also attached in the sources sought. Pursuant to 13 CFR l25.2(e)(6)(i) all Army Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) are required to use this program under the MEDCOM Regional Commands. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 621511 NAICS Code was identified through a review of the U.S. Census Bureau s website at https://www.census.gov/naics/. NAICS code was selected NAICS code 621511 was considered and selected as a service that supplies Medical Laboratory Testing. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFP or RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract vehicle based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked proprietary will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
