The USDA, ARS, Sugarcane Research Unit is currently in need of replacement of existing actuators with new actuators for Exhaust Fans 6 and 7 at the Ardoyne farm headhouse as per Statement of Work. This work will be completed at 501 Bull Run Road, Schriever, LA 70395. The NAICS is 561210. The business size is $47.0 million for small business. Companies who have the experience, as well as an interest in doing business with ARS, should submit a Capabilities Statement which, for this notice, is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company s ability to demonstrate their expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified in this notice. Companies should also indicate whether they are a Small Business, SBA-certified HUBZone, SBA-certified 8(a), SDVOSB, or Women-Owned Small Business. Point of Contact for the site visit is Mr. Richard Johnson at richard.johnson@usda.gov or at (985)895-0007 or (985) 870-4188. This will be the only site visit conducted.* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0243 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for replacement of actuators on two exhaust fans as detailed in attached Statement of Work. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors The small business size standard is $19 million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
