The required JBP panels are Critical Application Items (CAIs) and therefore it is the Navy's intent to award to sole vendors currently qualified to provide these CAIs: THE ENTWISTLE COMPANY LLC, 6 BIGELOW ST, HUDSON, MA UNITED STATES 01749-2638 | (CAGE: 20722) The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 332999, All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (a) (1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements as no other vendors have been identified that currently possess the necessary qualifications or certifications to meet the stringent requirements for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
