SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- **The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Hitachi High-Tech America, INC. , 1375 N 28th Ave, Dallas, TX, 75261-5012, USA , CAGE 6WR65 .under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is being sole sourced because service for the device (Hitachi SU7000 SEM) can only be provided by the OEM due to the proprietary/unique characteristics of the device. No other 3rd party is certified by the OEM to work on the device.) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
