Summary

AI-generated · Dec 30, 2025

Receive a turnkey Ku-band ground station system that is non-developmental or COTS, fully integrated with a 4.9-meter antenna and enclosure, plus all RF front-end equipment (transceivers, waveguides, high-power amplifier, RF switches, L-band combiners) and a beacon receiver, uplink power controller, and antenna controls. The system must support dual feeds: Ku-band receive 10.7–12.75 GHz and transmit 13.75–14.8 GHz, be monitorable and controllable both locally and remotely, and include its own HVAC for desert operation, power distribution, a 10-minute UPS, fire protection, and exterior generator backup. It must come with engineering design and installation drawings, a maintenance manual, and include factory acceptance testing, site installation, and final system acceptance testing at an undisclosed location.

Respondents should provide administrative and capability information showing how their product meets all salient requirements, including whether the solution is commercial, modified-commercial, or non-commercial, and whether the provider is the OEM or an authorized manufacturer/distributor (with proof). Provide lead times, certifications, full technical specifications, monitoring/control system details, antenna features, Ku-band configuration details (including LNB, 2-port Tx/Rx, and dual-band operation), environmental specs (-40 to 52 C, wind resistance, etc.), dimensions and weight, safety features, HVAC and fire protection, insulation and materials, power and UPS details, de-icing capabilities, enclosure specs, and time to design/install/commission. Include the number and locations of similar systems delivered, warranty terms, and any other relevant capabilities. This is an information-gathering (RFI) notice for planning; responses are non-binding and due within 14 business days, limited to about 10 pages, submitted by email.
