USDA Forest Service REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/Sources Sought For NATIONAL FORESTS IN TEXAS Disaster Recovery MATOC IDIQ This RFI/sources sought is for information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract/IDIQ by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. 1. PURPOSE: The US Forest Service, Field Procurement Office, Disaster Recovery is conducting market analysis with this RFI/sources sought to seek information from industry to assist with the refinement, development and planning to determine the most suitable approach for acquiring and fulfilling the needs associated with professional land surveying services for National Forests located in the State of Texas, on an as needed basis, for the United States Forest Service, National Forests in Texas, as identified in the attached Draft Contract Specifications. The purpose of this RFI/sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The US Forest Service, Field Procurement Office, Disaster Recovery may issue a solicitation and award of a multiple award task order contract to " NATIONAL FORESTS IN TEXAS CONSTRUCTION MATOC ". All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 1 September 2025. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the MATOC IDIQ. Information shall be provided via email to: david.l.watson@usda.gov. NAICS CODES: The primary NAICS code for this requirement is: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Small Business Size Standard: $45.0M This NAICS code is selected as the primary because the scope of the MATOC encompasses general construction, renovation, and multi-trade building work across facilities, recreation sites, and infrastructure.
