NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for facility operations, maintenance, repair, and other directly related safety and miscellaneous services for all infrastructure/facilities (buildings, hangars, utilities, structures and related systems) and assets (equipment and utility infrastructure). AFRC includes the main center at Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), California 93523. NASA AFRC is seeking capability statements from interested Small Business firms for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition for Facilities Operations and Maintenance. This Market Survey is conducted, in part, in an effort to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Interested firms are responsible for monitoring this website for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested Small Business firms having the required capabilities necessary to meet the above requirement described herein should submit a capability statement of no more than fifteen (15) pages indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort. Further information regarding the NASA AFRC s work requirements is set forth in Attachment 1 Required Capabilities. The requirement is considered to be a commercial service. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. Identification as to whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not.
