THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129 will be soliciting a Invitation for Bids (IFB) In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14- Sealed Bidding on or about 06/17/2025 for construction services for the following project: The Statement of Work From Specification Section 01 00 00: 1.2 GENERAL INTENTION A. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the replacement of the medium voltage switchgear and paralleling controls in building 208 as required by the drawings and specifications. 1.3 STATEMENT OF BID ITEM(S) A. BASE BID: Work includes general construction, alterations, and necessary removal of existing equipment and construction for the replacement of the medium voltage switchgear and paralleling controls in building 208. The period of performance is 365 days PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Z1DA Maintenance of Hospitals and Infirmaries This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. section 8127(d). NAICS Code 238210-Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $19M. The estimated range of construction is Between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14- Sealed Bidding The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 06/17/2025. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C 8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the VetCert database located at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. The database will be checked at the time of offer submission as well as prior to award. All offers must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://sam.gov/. The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made.
