The Army Contracting Command Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC) located in Rock Island, IL., is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to provide for the delivery for the MWMSS (Metal Working Machine Shop Set) VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) for 600-800 parts to include fasteners, hydraulic, and pneumatic items. Vendor Managed Inventory is defined as managing contract account in accordance with generally accepted VMI practices, which optimize supply chain performance. This includes, but is not limited to providing, stocking and maintaining inventory levels. * Please note that the Scope of Work and parts list is attached. Please note that these documents will be in draft version only and are subject to change. For planning purposes only, the Government anticipates a five-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The minimum quantity is one unit with an estimated maximum quantity of one hundred and twenty units. One (1) unit will consist of all of the items that are listed on the Parts List that will be provided during the Solicitation. Respondents should demonstrate that they possess the experience and technical capability to support this requirement. Respondents shall provide a summary of their company s capability statement, at least three (3) successful projects where you have provided completed simuliar work, CAGE Code and whether their company is large or small business.
