Molecular Testing DDEAMC Fort Eisenhower, GA PANHCA25P0000008962
Summary
AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025Provide nonpersonal services for molecular testing of infectious diseases to support DDEAMC. Supply an FDA-approved molecular diagnostic system plus all required supplies, equipment, tools, reagents, training, and maintenance to operate the system, including current panels and any future FDA-approved panels added during the contract.
Testing panels include enteric and extended enteric panels for common GI bacterial pathogens (with differentiation of Campylobacter jejuni/coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Shiga toxin–producing E. coli, Yersinia enterocolitica, Enterotoxigenic E. coli, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Vibrio), C. difficile, Group B strep, MRSA, and a vaginal panel covering bacterial vaginosis, Candida, and Trichomonas. The analyzer must be located at DDEAMC and capable of batching at least 24 patient samples per run by one technician (about 4,500 samples annually), offering ultra-high reliability and minimal specimen processing with integrated sample extraction and detection. It must include integrated software for final result calculations and be fully compatible with the Military Health System Genesis (MHS-G) or the facility LIS.
The Government has nonpersonal services requirement for Molecular Testing for Viral Infectious Diseases in support of Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC), Fort Gordon, GA. The contractor shall provide supplies to include, but not limited to, equipment, tools, materials, reagents, training, and other items and maintenance services necessary to provide Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved molecular based diagnostic system, to include, but not limited to the following testing panels and future panels that may become FDA approved during the duration of the contract: Enteric panel and extended enteric panel testing for common gastrointestinal bacterial pathogens, including the differentiation of Campylobacter strains (jejuni and coli), Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, Shiga Toxin-producing E. coli, Yersenia enterocolitica, Enterotoxigenic E. coli, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Vibrio spp; C. difficile specific diagnostic test; Group B strep screen; MRSA screen, vaginal panel, bacterial vaginosis, Candida spp, Trichomonas vaginalis. The analyzer will be located at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC). The productivity and efficiency will include the ability to batch at least 24 patient samples/run using 1 technician (~4,500 samples per year), ultra-high reliability, minimal specimen processing, integration of sample extraction, and detection. The system must include an integrated software system that performs all required calculations as needed for a final result and should be fully compatible with Military Health System Genesis (MHS-G) or facility LIS.
