Approval of a Justification and Approval to award a sole-source follow-on contract to L3Harris Technologies Inc. for continued depot and sustainment of the MET DESS (Modernization of Enterprise Terminals Depot and Engineering Services Support). This effort provides depot and engineering services in support of the DoD Wideband Global Satellite System (WGS), Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), and commercial satellite constellations. The contract will be Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity with a mix of cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursable, and firm-fixed-price line items.

This is a sole-source arrangement to continue MET DESS work with L3Harris, handled under the PdM WESS and PM IEN program offices. The engagement covers specialized depot and sustainment services for multiple satellite architectures and constellations, with no open competitive bidding indicated.
