The prisoners may come from any USMS District and are housed on an as needed basis for individuals charged with federal offenses and detained while awaiting trial, sentencing or hearings. The facility will be operated 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year basis for federal Prisoners. The Facility shall have the capability to accommodate at least 30 prisoners at a single site. The facility shall be located within the Northeast, Central/Midwest, and/or Western areas of the United States. Construction of a new facility is not a consideration for this requirement. The period of performance shall be a five-year period of performance.
