Any diagnostics or repairs will be scheduled as necessary for the duration of the plan. These requirements are necessary to ensure uninterrupted support of ongoing clinical studies. The period of performance for the resultant contract to Becton, Dickinson and Company is as follows: Base Period: 2/1/2026 1/31/2027 Option Period 1: 2/1/2027 1/31/2028 Becton, Dickinson and Company is the only source available pursuant to Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul Subpart 12.102(a) and 41 U.S.C. as the vendor is the OEM of the above identified BD Biosciences Flow Cytometers. As the OEM, BD Biosciences maintains exclusive ownership and control of proprietary software, firmware, diagnostic utilities, calibration tools, engineering documentation, and specialized replacement parts required to maintain these systems.
