Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) Pre-Solicitation Notice SP330026R5007

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing this Special Notice as a Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the acquisition of Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) Enterprise-Wide related to the modernization of warehouse equipment at the various Distribution sites. The purpose of this Notice is to conduct Market Research to learn more about industry s perspective and capabilities related to the changes in the Government s draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government is looking for industry s feedback to ensure the requirement has been clearly defined, is not restrictive in nature, and is achievable as written. Special attention should be paid to the sections of the PWS highlighted yellow, as the Government is seeking to understand vendor capabilities and impact on total cost to meet those additional requirements. The current contracts are SP330021D0008, SP330021D0009, and SP330021D0010 with the contractors being Conveyor Handling Company, Inc., Werres Corporation, and Unity Technologies Corporation, respectively. Further information regarding this Notice is described in the attached documents: Pre-Solicitation Notice SP330026R5007, and Draft LMIS Base PWS (pre-solicitation) 11-12-25. The attachments are only for the purpose of providing a response to the Special Notice/Pre-Solicitation Notice. It does not constitute a finalized draft for use in preparing a response to any forthcoming solicitation. The attachments provide an idea of the scope and magnitude of the requirement. In addition to the above, the purpose of the Special Notice is to solicit industry's feedback and best practices. Responses to this notice will be considered in determining the best approach for any potential future acquisition.
