The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase to Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation (Collins Aerospace), Windsor Locks, CT on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Fleet Readiness Center, Aviation Support Equipment (FRC-ASE) Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Repairs on Propeller Lifter, P/N GS24265-501, S/N 2018-12-090. COMFRC requires T&E and repair on one (1) Propeller Lifter, S/N 2018-12-090to bring the equipment to fully operational condition. Hamilton Sundstrand (Collins Aerospace) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Propeller Lifter, and retains all the proprietary /technical data rights required in order to provide the necessary calibration and repair services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within four (4) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
