The Embassy of the United States in Azerbaijan will launch the solicitation on the Contracts Opportunities website (beta.SAM.gov) when it is available. The Embassy of the United States in Baku will issue a solicitation for Life Insurance for Local Employed Staff in Baku, Azerbaijan. The estimate number of employees is 282. Anticipated performance is for one one-year base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in March 2026. The solicitation will be issued electronically on beta.SAM.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The Embassy encourages prospective offerors to offer off-the-shelf plans that meet at least the minimum benefit levels required in this solicitation. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on May 21, 2026, at 11:00 am (local time) at the U.S. Embassy Annex (90 Nizami str.).
