The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), TX, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to provide the following scope of work. Description of Requirement: The U.S. Air Force Drug Testing Laboratory (AFDTL) in San Antonio, Texas has a requirement for Lektriever Vertical Carousel Filing System Preventative Maintenance. The AFDTL utilizes motorized file cabinets (manufactured by Kardex Remstar) in order to efficiently store, manage, and retrieve all files. This is a non-personal services contract to provide preventative maintenance for five (5) Lektriever Vertical Carousels (Lektriever), model number SYS-120-1411-NT-US/120S-1411 MP. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified Contractors that can provide/perform the stated in the Statement of Work. The government is interested in collecting market data/information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equiptment Repair and Maintenance. The proposed contract action is for Lektriever Vertical Carousel Filing System Preventative Maintenance support in support of The U.S. Air Force Drug Testing Laboratory (AFDTL) in San Antonio, Texas. Southwest SolutionsGroup Inc. is the exclusive authorized dealer and factory authorized service provider for allOffice and Government Kardex Remstar equipment in the States of Texas, New Mexico,Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.
