The Bacteriology Department U.S. Naval Medical and Research Unit SOUTH collects large number of samples to identify patterns in drug resistant pathogens. Samples come from multiple Lima and Iquitos hospital sites as well as from other collaborating sites, such as Soto-Cano Base in Honduras, under NAMRU6.2017.0012 titled ¨Surveillance and Characterization of the Molecular Resistance Factors of Bacterial Pathogens in USSOUTHCOM AOR¨ and NAMRU6.2013.0024 titled “The Global Travelers Diarrhea (GTD) Study: an evaluation of study design and laboratory methodologies standardization in a multisite protocol assessing the epidemiology and etiology of acquired diarrhea among a U.S. military or civilian travelers” and IACUC 22-04 study. Preservation of collected isolates and samples for later analysis under mentioned protocols to be able to perform work in molecular biology and immunology is a must. Data is limited concerning the frequency and nature of drug-resistant bacterial infections in South America, including Peru. These studies are intended to establish or strengthen surveillance for bacterial infections in multiple settings, including but not limited to hospitals, infected wounds (both surgical site infection and traumatic wound infections), diarrheal infections, and infections occurring in remote areas, etc. in both civilian and military populations in Latin American countries. To achieve goal, Government needs to purchase lab supplies to Identify bacteria mentioned above to obtain isolates. 448007 NID25panel/bx Qty: 10 ea 448008 PID25panel/bx Qty: 10 ea 449294 NMIC-30525panel/bx Qty: 50 ea 449036PMIC-11025 panel/box Qty:30 ea 246001 ID BROTH100 ea/bx Qty: 30 ea 246003 AST BROTH (8ML)100 ea/bx Qty: 15 ea 246004 Phoenix AST IndicatorBox x 10 bag Qty:03 ea 440911 Kit Phoenix Spec CalibratorBox/ ea Qty: 01 ea Q32851 Qubit® dsDNA HS Assay Kit100 assays Qty: 02 ea Q32850 Qubit® dsDNA BR Assay Kit100 assays Qty:02 ea Q32856 Invitrogen™ Qubit™ Assay Tubes500 tubes/bag Qty: 01 ea F553L Thermo Scientific™ Phusion High-Fidelity PCR Kit 200 x 50 μL Reactions (or 500 x 20 μL Reactions)kit Qty: 02 ea 260001 GasPak EZ Anaerobe container system sachets with Indicators20/pk Qty: 01 ea 260683 GasPak EZ anaerobe pouch system20/pk Qty: 01 ea
