After removal, the work shall also include the installation of full replacement of synthetic underlayment, architectural shingle roof, drip edge, valley/ridge shingles, as well as the installation of step flashings, pipe/vent/chimney penetration flashings, and other items associated with a watertight roofing installation. Remove and reinstall lightening protections components as necessary. There is an additional line item (Item 4) for replacement of damaged sheathing and roof supports as discovered after roof removal. Additionally, demo the metal chimney on the bunkhouse roof and patch the sheathing in preparation for reroofing. Replace sheathing and supports only with COR approval.
