The Consulate of the United States in Matamoros, Mexico will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be announced in the solicitation. The U.S. Consulate General Matamoros seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services, including all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and insurance. The contract is fixed-price per month for routine services, with an additional fixed rate per square meter for temporary or extra services. Work will begin approximately ten days after contract award and submission of required insurance certificates, unless an earlier start is agreed upon. Temporary/additional services are on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis, with a minimum order of 25 square meters and a maximum of 2,000 square meters per year (including each option period). The contract performance period is 12 months, with four one-year renewal options. The initial period includes any authorized transition period.
