Provide a full-service maintenance contract for three government-owned BioFire FilmArray instruments located in the Microbiology Laboratory, including the specified instrument models and serial numbers, with a base year plus one option year. Work must be performed by a BioFire Certified Diagnostic Service Engineer and cover all labor, travel, replacement parts, software, and related expenses to keep the instruments in optimal operating condition and compliant with accreditation and regulatory requirements. On-site repair includes troubleshooting, parts replacement, and verification testing, with emergency response within 24 hours and same-day repair when multiple instruments are down during normal business hours; each instrument will receive one scheduled on-site preventive maintenance visit per year, with all parts, labor, and shipping costs included for both preventive and corrective actions.

Additionally, provide all required software and firmware updates to maintain current functionality, along with 24/7 toll-free technical support (including same-day remote or telephone assistance and coordination of on-site service). The government indicates BioMerieux is the only source capable of providing the certified service and intends to solicit from a single source under FAR 13.106-1(b); written capability statements must be received within seven days, after which a sole-source award to BioMerieux, Inc. may proceed under FAR Part 13 as a firm-fixed-price contract.

Written responses that demonstrate the ability to meet the Government s requirements must be received within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice. If no affirmative written response that demonstrates the capability to meet the Government s requirements is received within the stated timeframe, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source award to bioMrieux, Inc. using FAR Part 13 procedures, without further notice. The proposed sole source procurement will be a firm-fixed-price contract action with bioMrieux, Inc.
