The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract to AB SCIEX LLC, 1201 Radio Rd, Redwood City, CA 94065 for the purpose of providing annual Support and Maintenance Service Agreement on the software and hardware for the AB Sciex QTRAP6500 Mass Specttometer and its associated systems Assurance Maintenance Plan located at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The VA facility has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, software, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to complete all work associated with performing preventive maintenance services, necessary inspections, and repair services for the QTRAP6500+ Mass Spectrometer equipment. for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Based on market research, and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that AB SCIEX LLC is the only vendor capable of providing all the required preventive maintenance and repair services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer requirements.
