The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors who have the capability to provide chemical and biological laboratory fume hood testing, inspection, and certification at the Tomah VA Medical Center located in Tomah, WI. Vendors will be required to inspect, test, and certify one chemical fume hood, one biological fume hood, and service/replace negative air pressure room High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters for two rooms. These services shall be required once per year in the month of January. Fume hood testing shall follow American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 110 Laboratory Fume Hood Performance Testing guidelines. All negative pressure room testing shall follow the most current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/ American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)/ American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) Standard 170: Ventilation of Health Care Facilities. All interested responsible sources shall submit a summary of their capabilities to this office by 1:00PM Central Time on October 3, 2025. Please also provide the vendor s Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), experience with fume hood testing/certification, and a name and phone number of a point of contact. Summaries shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Dustin Biermann at Dustin.Biermann@va.gov. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The procurement will be competed under NAICS 811210. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.
