NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source contract with Steris, 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 for Preventative Maintenance on Steris equipment located at the Garner VA Clinic/Durham VAMC located in Garner, NC. The proposed procurement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) soliciting from a single source. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is NAICS 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance/$34 million. The proposed contract action is to provide Preventative Maintenance on Steris equipment during equipment warranty coverage. The contract period of performance will be April 28, 2026 September 30, 2026. This procurement is for OEM Preventative Maintenance services for maintenance of medical equipment located at the Gardner VA Clinic, 2700 Benson Road, Garner, NC. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and services associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
