The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, located at 6215 E. Clinton Ave. Fresno, CA 93703, is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The intended contractor is Tecniplast USA, Inc., located at 1345 Enterprise Drive, West Chester, PA 19380, to provide preventative maintenance and emergency repair services for a Series 900 Rack Washer, SN: 901223, for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), San Francisco Medical Center. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Repair Maintenance.
