Summary

AI-generated · May 23, 2026

Requires a ceiling lift system replacement/retrofit across multiple patient rooms and bays, with up to 282 ceiling motors to be upgraded. The solution must be vendor-determined but capable of supporting motor and rail service for at least one year, with equipment/rails under warranty for at least three years after installation. For adaptable rooms, provide a motor/rail solution that can be charged on installation completion, using continuous charging compatible with the current charging systems from the three manufacturers. For rooms with non-adaptable tracks, assume full replacement with an 18' x 18' XY track system, aiming to standardize rails where possible, and provide detailed reflected ceiling plans for the seven rooms requiring new track systems.

Submit a complete proposal that includes the required slings and accessories (compatible with various reusable and disposable slings), with part numbers and prices if specific models are mandated. Include a training plan for clinical staff (in-person or online, days of training, and how training will be delivered to cover three shifts), as well as a biomedical/technical training plan (1 day if mechanical only; 2–3 days if software is involved). The proposal should address the scope of work, provide scaled/ruled floor plans and drawings, and confirm warranty terms.

The purpose of amendment 1 is to post site visit attendee list, answer pre site visit questions, and extend RFQ close date. Question & Answers- Pre site visit questions Can you provide a list of rooms where existing tracks are in acceptable condition and eligible for retrofit? Vendor to provide a solution for up to 282 ceiling motors retrofit is determined based on the equipment/implementation/solution vendor provides as long as vendor can support motor and rail service at least one year /equipment/rails under warranty at least 3 years upon installation completion. The purpose of modification number 5 is to answer question. Are ICRA carts and/or HEPA containment required in all adaptable rooms if no above-ceiling access is necessary? Yes, per ICRA/PCRA team above ceiling tiles will likely always be level 2 and for the new installations/others can be 3 or 4 based on work requirements.
