SPECIAL NOTICE The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price, base plus 4 option year (OY) contract Maintenance Support Service for BioMrieux hardware and software for Pathology & Lab Service at VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS). The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is BioMrieux. Their technicians are OEM certified to provide parts and service compatible with the equipment. The technicians are also the only individuals authorized to install and maintain the equipment. The OEM will only guarantee work completed by these technicians. The government intends to award the contract on 05/20/2026 to BioMrieux, 515 S Colorow Dr., Salt Lake City, Utah 84108-1248. SAM UEI: HCNVCMEG9NL6; CAGE CODE: 4S002. The estimated Period of Performance will be 08/09/2026-08/08/2031. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
