The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Hampton VA Medical Center, located in Hampton, Virginia is conducting market research to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for Water Tower Repairs for Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC). The Department of Veteran Affairs, Hampton VAMC is seeking a contractor for the service for Water Tower Repairs. The contractor shall provide services which include all requested services and repairs on the water towers used by the Facility Management Engineering Department. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237110 (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction), Product Service Code (PSC) Classification is J048 (Maint/repair/rebuild of Equipment - valves) and Size Standard $45.0 Million. Capabilities Statement ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: Item Number Description QUANTITY UNIT 1) Repairs: a) Reinstall the hinged vent screens into the roof vent assembly so that they sit correctly and cover all openings during normal operation. b) Install a gasket secured with band clamps to cover the gap between the access tube and tank roof connection. c) Plug any open tank roof penetrations. d) Remove the rigid rail safety climb systems from all of the interior dry ladders. e) Provide and install a new cable style safety climb system onto all of the interior dry ladders and the interior wet ladder. f) The Owner will need to drain the tank for Southern Corrosion to access the interior wet ladder. g) Interior wet surfaces will be sterilized after work is completed 01 JB Please submit responses via email in Microsoft Office format by 11:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) 10/06/2025.
