This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 36C25626Q0449. 3. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2025-06 (eff. 10/01/2025) 4. This requirement is Total SDVOSB Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System number is 333415 with a size standard of 1,250 Employee. 5. Place of Performance: Alexxander VA Medical Center 2495 Shreveport Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360 6. The period of performance will begin on the date of award and will continue for 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. 7. The provision at 52.212-2 EVALUATION COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) applies to this acquisition. All offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement. The addendum to FAR 52.212-4 also applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and all additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. Amendment 00001 provides responses to questions for Solicitation Number 36C25626Q0449 and extends the due date of this solicitation. 1. Photos of the pumps/motors showing piping arrangement, electrical connection, and nameplate data. Are VFDs required? Is there any BAS connections or interlocks for the pumping system? ANS: The pics are attached to the email for this project. VFD's are required but not being replaced. No BAS connections needed. 2. Electrical for the Motors: HP, Voltage, Amperage and disconnecting means and locations. ANS: The information are located in the pics attached to the email. Electrical is all on name plate of pumps in pics 3. Pump capacity information: Flow Rate in GPM, & Pumping Head. ANS: The information are located in the pics attached to the email. Flow rate and GPM are on name plates in pics 4. What type of insulation is installed and thickness? ANS: The insulation is wrapped fiberglass insulation 2" thick 5. Is pump an End Suction, Double Suction, or In Line type Pump. ANS: See pics of pumps for the alignment for inlet and outlet 6. What is the pipe size for the Taco Triple Duty Valves to be installed. ANS: The piping is 12" for chiller 1 and 10" for chiller 2 Clarify the questions come from the scope: "The Contractor shall provide all tools, shipping, delivery, personnel, transportation, demolition, removal of old equipment, installation of new equipment, modifications to existing piping, to deliver and install the necessary equipment for repairing Chillers 1, and 2 ANS: The contractor must install both pump/motor for each chiller 1&2 and triple duty valve for both chillers. 2. The scope is to provide regular system health checks, preventative/routine maintenance, repairs, onsite training, and access to a technical support team in support of two industrial chillers and their subcomponents which consist of, but not limited to: magnetic drive pumps, piping, electrical connections, regulator valves, pneumatic actuators, gauges and indicators, heat exchangers, AC drives, and input modules. " ANS: The contractor after installation must verify the installation correct with functional for the 2 chillers pump/motors and triple duty valve.
