This is not the official solicitation.* The Western NC Veterans Health Care System, Charles George VA Medical Center, located in Asheville, NC, is seeking potential sources to provide Hospital Door Replacement, Repair, and Preventive Maintenance services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. SCOPE The contractor shall perform routine and emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and complete door replacements as required. Work includes, but not limited to: Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electronic, and automatic doors. Replacement of damaged or non-functional doors, frames, and associated hardware. Preventive maintenance, including lubrication, adjustment, and component replacements. Compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and hospital infection control policies. Proper disposal of removed materials per environmental and regulator standards. CONTRACT TYPE & PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE This is a Firm-Fixed type contract. This IDIQ contract with task orders issued as needed. The Period of Performance will be 5 years with Not to exceed $100,000.00 first year and $75,000.00 a year for each additional year. TASK ORDERS Individual task orders will be issued for specific projects and may include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, or full door replacements.
