The National Park Service (NPS), Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (NR MABO) is seeking capable contractors to replace one and repair the HQ Building Chillers for Grand Teton National Park (GRTE). Potential Project Known Information: The purpose of this project is to replace a failed compressor in the chiller as well as provide maintenance to the other five compressors/ refrigerant systems. The compressors are Copeland Scroll Mod: ZP385KCE-TWC-250, 200-230v 3ph Each compressor (6) and refrigerant loop will be evacuated, pressurized with nitrogen and leak tested. All Schrader valves need to have the Schrader stem replaced. Repair any detected leaks in the refrigerant system. Each compressor/ refrigerant loop will need to have a vacuum pulled and recharged to factory pressure with 480 oz of R-410A refrigerant. Each compressor will need to be checked for proper operation, pressure, superheat and sub cool. Verify all compressors operate to manufacturers recommendations. Replace and install one failed compressor and filter dryer with new compressor and dryer of the same size and style. The chiller setup is comprised of 3 modules each with 2 compressors, 2 refrigerant loops, heat exchangers with the water loops. Each heat exchanger shall be back flushed as well as flushing out the main line basket strainer and any additional heat exchanger cleaning recommended by the manufacturer.
