Sources Sought Notice Glock Slide Optic & Sight Installation Description of Requirement The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services is conducting market research to identify qualified small businesses capable of installing Government-furnished Trijicon RMR-HD optics and Ameriglo GL-813 iron sights on Government-furnished Glock 17 Gen 5 and Glock 19 Gen 5 upper slides. The requirement includes: Assembly and installation in accordance with manufacturer specifications Proper torque application and thread treatment Bore-sighting of each completed slide Secure handling and accountability of Government-furnished firearm components Estimated Quantity: Approximately 665 slides total (425 Glock 17 and 240 Glock 19). Vendor Requirements Hold a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) Be registered and active in SAM.gov Be capable of accepting and returning Government-furnished equipment Performance within the Albuquerque, NM area is preferred but not required. Vendors located outside the area must provide a shipping and handling plan for Government-furnished equipment. Provide up to three examples of similar projects (include customer, period of performance, contract number if applicable, and description of work). Describe your quality control and accountability procedures for handling Government-furnished firearm components.
