Control Unit, ICS SPRRA1-26-R-0029
Summary
AI-generated · Jan 21, 2026Qualified sources are being sought to manufacture an Interface Unit, Comm for the CHINOOK system (NSN and part number as specified). The item must be produced from a source control drawing per DoD-STD-100, and suitable data rights or manufacturing knowledge are not available to support alternate sources or qualification testing of a different part. Because of these data rights limitations, only a limited number of responsible sources are expected, and a formal solicitation may rely on limited competition under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1). All potential contractors are encouraged to identify themselves, and may seek source approval through the relevant program office’s process.
Respondents should be prepared to handle all aspects of manufacturing and production, including engineering support to become a qualified source, supply chain management, logistics, part forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, obsolescence management, and final delivery. Export-control restrictions apply, requiring current applicable certifications and an active US/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification to access export-controlled data. Responses are voluntary, no funding is provided to prepare responses, and there is no guarantee of a future solicitation or award.
