Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 19th Contracting Squadron (CONS) Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to FORUM COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS INC. for Secondary Crash Net. After conducting market research it was found this company is the only one that can provide the needed product, this procurement falls under FAR 6.302-1. FORUM COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS INC. are the only source capable of fulfill the specifications of this requirement. Please see the attached Forum Communications - Approval Memo and Salient Characteristics - Crash Net for additional information. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued based on the responses from this post. All responsible sources may submit a quote which may be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. The responder must be capable of fulfilling ALL charachteristics outlined in the Salient Characteristics and Memo Document. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
