INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - This is a non-personal services contract to provide Photometer Calibration/Service for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (N4523A) Calibration Lab (Shop 52) Owned Equipment. ATI (Air Techniques International), division of Hamilton Associates, Inc. (0D1M0) as directed by the Navy METCAL program via OEM waiver letter 04RM-1911, only calibrations by the OEM (ATI) are authorized for this equipment. Calibration services from another source will not meet NAVSEA metrology requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) has been determined to be 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a large business size standard of $34,000,000.00. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is J066 - Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Instruments and Laboratory Equipment. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 5 September 2025 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A25RC07581. A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. PSNS and IMF Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued.
