The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action for the procurement of the following items: Monaco Fire Monitoring System: - CLIN 0001: One(1) Lot: Monaco Fire Monitoring System Update Equipment - CLIN 0002: One (1) Each (Ea): Installation and Training This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.501(a) Soliciting from a single source . MONACO ENTERPRISES, INC (MEI) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the identified fire, security, and notification equipment installed across the installation. While Internet research and direct outreach did identify vendors capable of providing similar equipment/system, none offered MEI products which are necessary for upgrading the currently installed Monaco system or support for MEI proprietary integration. Thus, MEI has been determined to be the only known source capable of providing the equipment as well as services that provide seamless integration with the existing Monaco system. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source procurement action under NAICS 334290 and is not a request for competitive proposals. Parties who wish to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates the firm s ability to fulfill the requirement. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered.
