Integrated Launch and Recovery Television Surveillance (ILARTS) System Evaluation, Overhaul, and Upgrade Services N68520-25-SIMACQ-KN00000-0401

Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), located at the Navail Air Station Patuxent River, MD hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Rock House Products International, INC 720 Route 17M STE 201-203 Middletown, NY 10940-4346 (Cage Code: 1GBE2) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs. FRCSW identified the need of supplies and services to provide off-site overhaul and upgrade services for four (4) ILARTS Cameras. The assets are owned by the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), P.O. Box 357058, NAS North Island San Diego, CA 92135-7058. Part Number: 627740-1 Qty.: Four (4) ea. The current cameras used in the ILARTS system are manufactured by Rock House Products (OEM). Current informtion and research indicate that Rock House Products is the sole source for both the obsolete parts and the necessary technical services required to overhaul these cameras. Rock House Products does not currently sell its ILARTS camera products on the open market and maintains a parts inventory specifically for the repair and overhaul of existing government-owned cameras. For this reason, Rock House is the only vendor approved to provide overhaul and upgrade services on the ILARTS system cameras, part number: 627740-1 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitve procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
