Responses must be received no later than September 5, 2025. Interested vendors must also add their names to the Interested Vendors List for this posting in www.sam.gov Contract Opportunity (must be logged-in to your account). The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install Utilities & Culinary Equipment at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Alderson located in Alderson, West Virginia. FPC Alderson is a Federal Prison Camp located at 1 Glen Ray Rd. Box A, Alderson, West Virginia 24910. The project consists of providing all necessary equipment, material, and labor for a new 400 AMP MDP and branch conduits. This Scope also includes labor to supply a fully functional culinary arts program per the requirements listed in one of the modulars already on site, as specified in the statement of work and drawings. See the Statement of Work/Specifications and Drawings attachments for the complete requirements for the project. Interested bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov. Any secured/locked documents with the solicitation will require an active vendor registration at https://SAM.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. (NOTE: This range is one of eight available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238190 (Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors) with a corresponding small business size standard of $19,000,000. The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your https://sam.gov registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above (see provision 52.219-1 in the Representations & Certifications section of your https://sam.gov registration).
