A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE WHICH WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install Lift Station, at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Bastrop), located in Bastrop, Texas. FCI Bastrop is a federally owned facility located at 1341 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX, 78602. The project consists of the following: Remove an existing septic tank and associated piping to enable the installation of a new fiberglass manhole with grinder pump and new duplex sewer lift station in a precast concrete sump. The sewer system shall then be extended to a Corix Utilities tie-in location. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the Utility and shall be responsible for any costs associated with the tie-in. FCI Bastrop is a United Stated federal prison for male inmates. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachments for the complete requirements of the work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 237110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $45 million.
