The East Services Branch, Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Preventive Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration for Industrial Hygiene Equipment. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The Health Readiness Contracting Office - East intends to Award a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order, on a sole source basis to TSI Incorporated, 500 Cardigan Road, Shoreview, MN 55126-3903, utilizing the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.
