Set-asides, if applicable: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisitions and Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Seattle Simplified Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Illumina under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) and 41 U.S.C. 1901. The proposed contract action is unrestricted. 3. Codes for services or supplies: NAICS 334516 4. Description: (i) The requirement is for the purchase of an Illumina MiSeq i100 next-generation sequencing system with on site installation and training (FOB Port Orchard, WA) ; (ii) This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government s requirements may submit substantiating documentation (including company UEI) in writing to the identified point of contact via email before the due date/ deadline of this SAM posting. Email must contain the subject line "Illumina 143041-26-0034" to ensure its received properly. Such requests and documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
