The Great Plains Area laboratories need an instrument interface solution that connects clinical laboratory instruments with the Indian Health Service RPMS, translating RPMS data via HL7 so that lab test orders placed in RPMS/EHR are transmitted to laboratory instruments and, after testing, results are sent back to the patient’s EHR used by clinicians for direct patient care. This requirement covers software, hardware, and ongoing support and maintenance services.

This is a Sources Sought to assess industry capability and interest in delivering an end-to-end instrument management solution that enables bidirectional communication between RPMS and laboratory instruments, including installation, integration, and sustained support across GPA laboratories.
