The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City requires a contractor to perform removal and replacement of the existing rooftop packaged HVAC Unit and three (3) existing Air Handling Units (AHUs) at U.S. Government Residential Property located at Mexico City. The objective of the project is to eliminate obsolete, unsupported HVAC equipment and install modern, state-of-the-art systems that improve energy efficiency, operational reliability, enviromental compliance and long-term servieability. The Government is planning a Site Visit, the date and location for this visit will be stated in the solicitation once its launched. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) Offerors must be registered in SAM at the time an offer is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City through the Facility Management Office (FAC), requires a vendor that can supply and delivery One (1) packaged Rooftop HVAC Unit and Three (3) associated Indoor Air Handling Units (AHUs) at U.S. Government Residential Property located at Mexico City. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire new, current-production HVAC Equipment to replace the existing obsolete systems that have exceeded their useful service life and utilize refrigerant that is no longer supported. The equipment shall provide improved energy efficiency, operational reliability, environmental compliance and long-term maintainability. This procurement is limited to the furnishing and delivery of the specified HVAC Equipment only.
