The Haag-Streit BX 900 Slit Lamp is a specialized, high-end imaging device designed specifically for professional ophthalmic photography of the anterior eye segment. The device is designed for ease of access to the patient, making it particularly useful when photographing in conjunction with hand-held diagnostics lenses. The BX 900 or equivalent should feature an integrated, synchronized flash, LED illumination, and adapter systems for top-tier DSLR cameras, enabling high-quality, documented imaging for clinical diagnosis, research, and to guide various ocular surgeries and procedures. Scope MVAHCS is seeking a firm fixed price to purchase the BX 900 LED Slit Lamp Package The project includes delivery, installation, and imaging training. Salient Characteristics/Functional Requirements Illumination Light Source LED for examination Adjustable Xenon flash that enables the ability to take high magnification photos of corneal pathology and offers high quality clarity. Wider range of illumination abilities for sclerotic scatter, indirect illumination, retro-illumination, vitreous photos, iris angiography, as well as gonio images. Light Management 100% of light direction to the camera, allowing for all the light for the image. Adjustable ISO and shutter speed. Aperture and Magnification Adjustments Built-in diaphragm setting to adjust aperture. Adjustable magnification and apertures for the ability to change the depth of field. Camera Integration Camera is mounted above the microscope. Integrated adapters. SLR camera compatible. Microscope Magnification: Multiple options from 6-40x.
