All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information from contractors that can provide Diagnostic radiation physics consulting for the VA Las Vegas Medical Center. A draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) is attached. Brief Description of Services See attached Draft SOW. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, base plus four (4) option year contract to LBT Diagnostic Radiation Physics Consulting Ltd, SAM UEI XRT7H1NWC918 at VA Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) located at 6900 N. Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of the proposed action. The solicitation for this action will be posted to Contract Opportunities, and all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. After consideration, the Government will determine whether to proceed with the sole source acquisition. The requirement is to provide specialized diagnostic radiation physics consulting services to ensure the safety, compliance, and operational integrity of its imaging services. As an integral component of patient care, radiology and imaging departments must adhere to stringent FDA and Joint Commission standards, necessitating ongoing radiation safety oversight, equipment servicing, and regulatory compliance support. The estimated Period of Performance will be 09/1/2026 08/31/2031. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
